Writers: open your newsletter and choose “Your ads” on the Issues page, or Earnings, then “Advertise something of yours”. Paste the link you want readers to open and press the button. The page is read and the ad is filled in: its name, a headline, a sentence or two, a button and a colour. Change anything, pick a colour and a style, and save. From then on the ad is added after the last line of every issue, on the issue’s page and in the email. You do not paste anything into your writing. Check before you continue
Every ad sits under a line that says “Publisher advertisements” and your name, so readers know it is advertising you chose. To leave ads off one issue, open that issue and untick “Show ads in this issue”. Clicks are counted when a reader presses the button; nothing about the reader is kept, and mail apps that check links can add to the email count. You answer for what your ad says and where it leads. No money moves through Publish Haven for these ads.
