Writers: open your newsletter, choose Growth, then “Make your first prediction”. Write one sentence that will be clearly true or false on a date, for example “The central bank will cut rates at its December meeting.” Choose how sure you are and the date, tick the box and publish. The prediction is now locked and appears on your track record. When the date comes you get an email: open the same page, choose “Mark the result”, say whether it happened and add a link that shows it.
Check before you continue
A prediction cannot be edited or deleted. If you published one by mistake you can withdraw it; readers still see it, marked as withdrawn, with your reason. If you marked the wrong result you can change it, and readers are told. The free plan keeps up to five predictions waiting at a time. Writer Pro keeps up to 200 and lets you show a prediction to paying members first.
