Writers: open your newsletter, choose Audience, then “Turn chat on”. Your newsletter gets a chat room that confirmed subscribers can open from your newsletter page and from every issue. You post with a Writer badge. Readers choose the name shown beside their messages. Once paid memberships are open, paying members also get a Members room.
Check before you continue
Messages are visible only to confirmed subscribers and to you, never to the public or to search engines. You can remove any message, and mute a reader so they can read but not post. You get at most one email an hour when readers write. Turning chat off hides the room and keeps the messages. Readers: confirming your subscription signs you in on that device. On another device, follow the reading link in any issue email first, then open the chat.
